A study in subtraction and openness, where spatial clarity emerges through light, proportion, and connection to nature.

The brief

Contemporary Villa Renovation is a 760 m² residential transformation located within Jumeirah Golf Estates, spanning two floors and reimagining an existing villa through subtraction, openness, and spatial refinement.

The design strengthens the relationship between interior spaces, natural light, and landscape by reconfiguring the building envelope and reorganizing internal spatial flow. The intervention focuses on opening the rear façade toward the garden and pool, transforming previously enclosed areas into transparent and light-filled living environments.

Spatial organization is refined to enhance circulation, flexibility, and visual continuity across both floors, establishing a clearer dialogue between architecture and outdoor space.

Each level tells its story, blending Victorian charm with modern comforts to reflect the family’s unique style and spirit: a truly magical home—and a joy to bring to life.

Scope of Work

Residential renovation design for a 760 m² two-floor villa, including façade reconfiguration, interior spatial redesign, and landscape integration strategy.

The scope covers rear façade opening design, circulation optimization, spatial reorganization, and integration of interior–exterior relationships through a unified architectural approach.

A restrained material palette of mineral surfaces, warm timber, and glass defines the architectural identity of the renovation. The interplay between solidity and transparency enhances spatial depth and daylight penetration, creating a calm and contemporary residential atmosphere closely connected to the surrounding landscape.
